Radiological technicians have many duties, including prepping patients and telling them what they need to do in order to get a proper picture. You'll need to make sure patients have taken off all jewelry and that their radiation protection garments are properly worn. Your job will also entail booking appointments, and following physicians' exact orders for each individual client.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, radiological technicians make between $48,000 and $55,000 annually, depending on the facility you work for. With so many single parent scholarships and grants for parents available right now, getting a better education has never been so easy.
