Once you surf the internet, branch out into your community and see if you can talk to local businesses that might be willing to lend a helping hand. Many companies provide scholarships to students who are working toward a degree but could use a little extra cash.
Finally, don't forget to ask your school of choice if there are any scholarship opportunities available to you. Even though you may only be able to earn a couple hundred dollars through your postsecondary institution, every dollar counts. This money can be put toward everything from textbooks to transportation costs.
