Fit going to college into your budget

Making sure your kids have all they need to have a happy childhood may mean that you work multiple jobs in order to support their needs, especially if you don't have a college degree. If this is something you're faced with, know that you do have the option to go back to school now in order to secure a much better paycheck - even if you're only working one job.

If you're fearful that the cost of going to college may harm your family financially, then look into single parent scholarships that are available to people who are in similar situations. Through scholarships and even financial aid from the school you choose, you should be able to fit going to school in your budget.

With so many choices in terms of majors and even degrees - bachelor's or associate's - you can choose an path that works for you. In your current situation, earning an associate's degree may be most beneficial, as you can start working in a higher paying field in just two years, something that should be doable for you financially. Why continue to slave at work for less money, when you can go back to school and better your lifestyle forever?
