California students protest rising tuition

The College Board reports that for the 2011-2012 school year public four-year colleges are charging an average of $8,244 in tuition and fees for in-state students, while out-of-state students pay an average of $12,526. Class of 2012 salaries increase

A new report released by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) has found that graduates of the Class of 2012 can expect to see slightly higher starting salaries than the Class of 2011.
NACE's April 2012 Salary Survey Report revealed that the median salary for new bachelor's degree grads is up 4.5 percent to $42,569. The median salary for the Class of 2011 was $40,735.…

Hiring projections increase

There's good news for mothers and anyone else who is graduating from college this semester. A recent survey conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) reveals that employers expect to hire 10.2 percent more new college graduates from the college Class of 2012 than they did from the Class of 2011.
When employers were originally asked about their hiring plans for the Class of 2012 in September, the projected increase was lower at 9.5 percent over last year.…
