Take the risk to better your life

Moms are like real-life superheros - without the fabulous costumes. If you feel like you're constantly rushing around to make sure your children have done their homework, are wearing proper clothes and get to school on time, all before you head off for your double shift, then it may be time for a change, as even superheros need a break now and again.

As a single mother, you know the challenges that parents face, from raising kids right to being able to afford all of the necessities, except you need to do it all on your own. Going to college is one way for you to have it all without having to constantly be on the go. Earning a degree will give you the freedom to work a steady 40 hour work week and give you the comfort of knowing that your family will be taken care of.

Yes, going back to school will be a change for you and your kids, but when you really break it down, the struggle you face now to balance everything will be a thing of the past once you get that first high-paying job. One way to reduce the initial sticker-shock of college is to look for single mother scholarships that will lower your tuition cost to a price you can easily fit into your tight budget.
